I am 17, and work at McDonalds. Shits weak. Today, unlike most days, i worked third shift. I notice a few new faces, all kind and full of conversation. This dude next to me begins a conversation about this stuff called neutrinos, (sub atomic particles, travelling faster than the speed of light). The conversation grew into discussion about time travel, and how modern physics where false, meaning Einstein was wrong. meaning nothing was ever anything in the first place. How sub atomic shock waves are capable of this, i have no idea.

  He then brings up a new found fungus species Ophiocordyceps camponoti-balzan, that has been turning insects into zombies. The fungus effects the insect by making them walk towards a body of water, kill them self, and then the fungus completes it stages of ‘zombification’. I jus looked up some pictures…shits fucking crazy and nasty looking.

  So the conversations make time go by, and i begin to think about the things i heard from my new friend. His body language used when he described these things, interestingly disturbing, they replayed in my mind. I had then told myself to ask him where i can find some LSD.

  So i did. He said, “man acid was my shit back in the day, i used to buy 10 strips on the school bus. I haven’t touched it in 15 years. Mushrooms were better, good ol southern style. during the summer. One time me and 2 buddys took a pound of mushrooms and let them boil for 3 hours, making 3 coffee cups of potent ass shit. We drank it and watched all 3 seasons of the sopranos tripping balls. Intense as fuck man, like the walls were all melting different colors n shit.” I told him damn man i wish you were my age…and knew where to get some acid. Ive done mushrooms in the past, and theyve always ended up not being what i expected. LSD being one of the only things i have actually hallucinated on.

  He told me he had experimented with a number of drugs, cocaine being the worst, making him have to move away to florida. He said that cocaine will probably be legal in like 10 years, but not to fuck with it because it will fuck with you. Im thinkin, word.

  So my shift comes to an end, and im full of thoughts about drugs, time travel, zombie ants, etc. When i get home i smoke a bong. My high leads me to think of the people out in the world. People that chose to do the things that other people haven’t. like doing drugs. not going to school. jus seeing where life takes you. These people seem to be the happiest. The most down to earth. The easiest to get along with.  I feel like if everyone did LSD once in there life, and smoked marijuana everyday, the world would be a better place.
